“Beth Kahlen developed my singing skill and restored my speaking voice after a diagnosis of severely strained vocal chords. I attended a group class that led to dramatic results, and I continue with private voice lessons. Beth is funny, reassuring, positive, and patient. I’ve learned so much. Using my voice is now a joy.”

Educator

“Beth has been teaching singing to my daughter Sofia, who is blind and has learning disabilities. Beth is positive, enthusiastic, and charming—even when Sofia is not! Sofia has improved her voice volume, control, pitch, and now loves to sing as a result of Beth’s hard work. I cannot recommend an instructor any more highly!”

—Joe Urban

“Beth is my singing coach. Her teaching challenges my all-or-nothing mentality. She blows my mind!”

—Ariel Deweese

“I study speech technologies and am the VP of a company that specializes in software that speaks and listens to users. I worked with Beth to help improve my songwriting. She suggested changes to my articulation, phrasing, and presentation, and helped me resolve trouble spots in melody and lyrics. This yielded better songs with more emotional impact. Beth is enthusiastic, encouraging, and fun to work with.”
